Jason Lee had a full-on crash out at a Jennifer Lopez concert — and the reason was hilariously petty.
On the latest episode of The Jason Lee Show, the host openly admits he acted like a complete brat during a Vegas trip with Tiffany Haddish.
They went to see JLo, but when seating didn’t go his way, Jason lost it. He wanted to sit right next to Tiffany. Instead, he got placed next to JLo’s mom in the family section.
“I was so deep in the resentment for having to sit next to JLo’s mama… I don’t want to sit next to nobody mama,” he confesses, laughing at his own meltdown.
Tiffany had filmed the whole thing as a vlog. While Jason spiraled — complaining about being treated like a plus-one and threatening to leave — she stayed calm, trying to hype him up and keep the vibe positive.
Later, she made him watch the footage back so he could see how ridiculous he looked. Instead of getting mad, Tiffany turned the moment into a self-love lesson, pushing him to grow.
Jason owns it completely, admitting it was a classic temper tantrum over something most people would be thrilled about. Tiffany, ever the patient bestie, says she knew it would be a great growing moment and stuck by him anyway. The pair even joke about how she would have read him for filth if the roles were reversed.
The story comes out while they’re discussing how Tiffany serves as Jason’s self-love coach — the one who calls, says “I love you,” and refuses to abandon him when he slips.
From foster kid struggles to sobriety and big careers, their friendship clearly includes holding each other accountable, even when it means filming a public meltdown at a superstar’s show.
Who knew sitting next to JLo’s mom could trigger that much drama?
