Summer House star West Wilson is getting candid about the fallout surrounding the show’s upcoming reunion — and it sounds like tensions within the cast are still very real.
During a recent episode of the Show Me Something podcast, West reflected on the emotional aftermath of filming the reunion and admitted that his actions negatively impacted some of his closest friendships.
“These are my friends, you know, and I’ve caused a lot of damage which f—ing sucks.”
West’s comments came while discussing the recently leaked reunion audio that sparked online speculation and fan theories about what went down during filming. Although he avoided revealing specific reunion details, he acknowledged the experience was difficult for everyone involved.
“It’s gonna take time for sure, but time helps.”
The Bravo star also described reunions as emotionally intense environments where cast members are forced to confront uncomfortable truths about themselves and their relationships.
“Reunions aren’t fun, but it’s like the darkest form of therapy.”
According to West, the reunion pushed him to reflect on how his actions affected the people around him.
“The only thing I can do from this is learn and try to be better.”
Podcast co-host Sophie Cunningham encouraged West to view the experience as an opportunity for growth, telling him difficult moments can help people become more aware of how they impact others.
West stopped short of confirming where specific cast relationships currently stand, but his comments strongly suggest the emotional fallout from Season 9 is far from resolved.
