Summer House star West Wilson is opening up about the emotional toll of filming the show’s reunion — and according to him, healing within the cast is going to take time.
During a recent episode of the Show Me Something podcast, West reflected on the fallout surrounding the reunion and admitted the experience forced him to confront how his actions affected the people closest to him.
“Reunions aren’t fun, but it’s like the darkest form of therapy.”
West explained that reunion filming became an intense environment where cast members were forced to hear direct feedback about the damage caused throughout the season.
“You don’t normally get that much feedback on how your actions impact other people.”
The Bravo star also acknowledged that relationships within the group are still fragile following the reunion taping.
“It’s gonna take time for sure, but time helps.”
West previously admitted during the same conversation that he had “caused a lot of damage” within some of his friendships, hinting that unresolved tensions remain among the cast after Season 9.
Still, he said he’s trying to use the experience as an opportunity to grow and become more self-aware moving forward.
“The only thing I can do from this is learn and try to be better.”
Podcast co-host Sophie Cunningham supported West throughout the conversation, encouraging him to see the difficult reunion experience as a chance for reflection and personal growth.
While West avoided sharing specific reunion spoilers, his comments suggest viewers can expect an emotionally charged confrontation when the reunion airs.
